Looks like there is a competition going on in the Arab world to build the tallest building in the world. Few years back the tallest building in the world was built in Dubai. But now Jeddah is going to host world's tallest tower. It's Kingdom Tower and is being built by Bin Laden Group.
Kingdom Tower is being built in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and stand
as the centerpiece of the Kingdom City development. It has a
construction area of 530,000 square meters, and when complete will
stand 173 meters taller than the current tallest building,
the Burj
Khalifa in Dubai.
The Kingdom Tower will stand over one kilometer tall and will become the tallest tower in the world beating Burj Khalifa.
