As a blogger, being productive is definitely a must if you are serious about long-term success. But how can you become productive? Identifying the problem is always the first step to overcome it. Find what kills your productivity, in the first place. Here are the top 10 productivity killers.


1. Lack of Passion:

If you are not passionate for what you are doing then it would be hard for you to maximize results. You won’t be productive and it would seem quite a challenge to you.


2. Lack of Planning:

Failing to plan is planning to fail. If you don’t have a plan for your daily activities, you’re supposed to fail to complete your task and fail to become productive.


3. No Definite Work Hours:

Everyone has his own most productive hours. If you can’t find out your productive hours and can’t stick to those productive hours, you are supposed to fail becoming productive.


4. Distractions:


If you have too many interruptions while you’re working, you can’t be productive. Interruptions distract your attention and hence you can’t focus on your work.


5. Too Many Breaks:

Breaks are necessary for you but too many breaks in work can kill your productivity. You need to stay focused on your task and breaks often distract your focus.


6. Multitasking:


Some people are fond of trying to a dozen of things at the same time and often end up completing not even a single thing. Multitasking can be proved unproductive in the end.


7. Wrong Priorities:


Everyone is not good at everything. There may be some activities that you find yourself not good at all. If you spend your time doing things that you’re not good at, you can’t be productive enough.


8. Lack of Methodology:

Content creation, traffic generation, content promotion, backlinking - everything should have a method or system. If you don’t have a definite methodology for these tasks you can’t be productive.


9. Unhealthy Lifestyle:


You need to nurture your body to prepare for another day of productive works. Unhealthy lifestyle can make you sick every now and then and you’ll become unproductive during these periods.


10. Never Learning:

You don’t know everything. You need to learn new things to apply them in your job. If you don’t like to learn new things you can’t be productive in your works.
