There seems to be no shortage of movies depicting the destruction of New York. Last month New York Entertainment magazine even had a article up, The Ten Best Movie Destructions of New York City. The graphics of these scenes could have been better. They look a little unreal. Don't know how it will look in the movie though.
But this third poster is realistic enough though it looks like a copy from that hurricane destroyed city they show in Day After Tommorow movie.
At any rate without having seen the film, Cloverfield sounds to me like cross between Day After Tomorrow and Godzilla.

Nice try. There are at least five different versions of "the monster" floating around the Internet, and that one is, by far the worst one yet. What video game did you steal it from?
As for the third image of "New York," This picture was made in three years ago... looks familiar doesn't it?

Do a google image search for "Cloverfield monster" and you'll see where I got the image for the Cloverfield movie monster. I'm sorry you accuse me of stealing. Anyway thanks for pointing it out, I forgot to add a link to where I got that pic. As for the others I've said I got it from "Archidose" blog who in turn had got all the first 3 posters that are here from cloverfieldmovie.com But you're right, it looks like the New York destroyed image is from the link you pointed.
And yes, there are many different version of the socalled Cloverfield monster floating around the net. I'll be updating this post with the correct version when I get it.

Here is what the monster actually looks like. I also accused Archidose of lying so don't feel too upset.
one last comment.
The image that anonymous posted is actually a submission for an online contest. It was clearly stated several times befoer the movie was released that it was not the monster.
Also, in regards to my previous post. I'm not sure how accurate that image is, it looks like what I saw in the theatre, but it may not be an official image.

It's nice to see you again. I've checked a lot of places for the Cloverfield monster but still no place is telling for sure which is the real monster. Since you have already watched the movie maybe you can clear the mystery.
However in your comment before the last you give a link to this article itself, saying, "Here is what the monster actually looks like." Does this mean the monster I've included in the article is actually the real Cloverfield monster? I would like to have the link so I can update this post with it. thanks
