Technorati is the best search engine, content aggregator, social website and ranking system for blogs and therefore it attracts a large number of bloggers. In recent years Technorati has become so popular, that there are now, more than 71 million blogs listed on it and what's more, nearly 120,000 new blogs are added to it each day!
In such an environment getting your blog noticed and attracting web traffic is no easy task. So I was very happy to read at Life Rocks! 2.0 about this latest experiment going on in the blogosphere that will help bloggers in this task and I decided to participate in it.
It was started by Dosh Dosh and he has named it the, “Technorati Favorites Exchange: An Interactive Experiment.” The aim of it is to increase your blog's Technorati Favorite ranking by exchanging favorites with other bloggers. In addition you also get web links to your blog which is very important in ranking high on search engines like Google. Both these increase your blog's web exposure and helps attract more people to your blog.
One uniqueness about this experiment I notice is, it is a win-win scenario for ALL participants and any blogger can participate in it and benefit equally. The more blogs you favorite and link to, the equal number will reciprocate your gesture. Here are the rules for this experiment.
How to Participate:
- Firstly, add this blog to your Technorati Favorites from this link: Add to Technorati Favorite (or alternatively you can add using the Technorati Favorite button on the sidebar of this blog.)
- After adding me, leave a comment on this post with your Technorati Favorite link, for me to add you to my Technorati Favorites.
- Write a blog post about this experiment and add a link to this post and let me know by leaving a link to your post in the comments so that l can add a link to you in this post.
